MEET OUR MINISTER

MINISTER
REVEREND DR. MICHAEL CURCURU
Rev. Dr. Michael Cucuru serves as the minister at the Center for Spiritual Living in Beaumont, California, where he blends the heart of New Thought teachings with a warm, imaginative approach to spiritual growth. His experiential Sunday services invite the congregation to engage the senses, awaken the imagination, and discover their own inner wisdom through story, reflection, and spiritual practice. A gifted storyteller and teacher, Rev. Dr. Michael weaves timeless spiritual ideas into everyday life with humor, insight, and heart. In his Spiritual Living Classes, he creates a dynamic, participatory environment—encouraging students to explore metaphysical principles not just intellectually, but through personal experience, creativity, and self-expression. He is the author of Heartlight – Illusion to Illumination: Honoring Soul Whispers Within, a book that calls us to become our own participant, preacher, and parachute. His forthcoming work, Saying Hello to Goodbye – Befriending the Arc of Transition: Moving from Hurt to Hope to Healing, continues his exploration of transformation and conscious living. Rev. Dr. Michael studied through the Centers for Spiritual Living, Holmes Institute of Consciousness, and the Emerson Theological Institute, earning his Doctorate of Ministerial Studies in 2021. He and his husband, Ross, make their home in Palm Springs. They enjoy traveling, mountain hiking, cooking, and sharing life’s adventures with their family, including their son, daughter, and four grandchildren.
